“AIN’T NO CHICKEN”
Oil painting on canvas board: 40 cm x 30 cm
I started this painting as a simple oil study, something outside my usual themes, but it quickly took on a life of its own. Titled “Ain’t No Chicken”, it plays with humor while tapping into the powerful symbolism of the rooster: bold, proud, and unafraid to speak up. Roosters greet the day with confidence, standing tall and announcing their presence without hesitation. For me, this piece became a reminder to set fear aside, to rise with courage, and to face whatever comes with spirit and strength. It may not fit the rest of my work, but maybe that’s the point - it dares to stand out.
